California EV Charger Rebates
California homeowners and business have a wide range of rebates and credits available to them by county. These range from counties and cities all over the state offering you a few hundred dollars off your home installation, to offering tens of thousands of dollars in tax credits for businesses purchasing chargers for their fleet. Texas EV Charger Rebates
Austin Energy offers a $4,000 rebate or 50% of the cost of installing approved level 2 charging stations for businesses and multifamily properties. Austin Energy is also providing rebates up to $10,000 to hosts who want to install a DC Fast Charger.
Federal Tax Credit
In December of 2019 congress passed a bill expanding the electric vehicle charging tax credit, which now covers 30% of the cost of buy and installing EV charging hardware at your home our business. This credit can save you up to $1,000 dollars for a residential installation, or $30,000 for a commercial installation. This can be used in addition to local rebates and credits.
