Electrician
Connect solar panels and inverters and other high-voltage equipment to the building’s power supply; Repair or replace PV-related wiring, equipment, and fixtures; Assemble, install, test, and maintain PV-related electrical/electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures; Test PV electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring to ensure compatibility and safety; and plan layout and installation of PV-related electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.

Sr. Service Technician
Overall Responsibilities
Responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance of Photovoltaic (PV) inverters, string boxes, solar panels, and other components
Assist in the commissioning of the solar array and monitoring systems during project installation when needed
Ensure that PV systems are setup correctly
Perform roof penetration repairs
Install hardware, PV modules, inverters, and monitoring equipment
Perform commissioning of inverters and inspection of solar panels
Respond to corrective maintenance cases on PV inverters, string boxes, and solar panels. This includes troubleshooting, testing, and repairing activities
Electrical wiring of solar array/system (AC and DC)
Perform voltage testing using appropriate PPE and procedures
Prepare reports, if needed to comply with deliverables in O&M contracts
Help in all areas of preventative and corrective maintenance as directed by a manager with minimal supervision
Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology, maintenance, and safety
Ensure tasks are performed according to organizational requirements for quality management and environmental, health and safety standards, policies, and procedures
Qualifications
Ability to add or remove panels on solar systems
Able to identify/isolate roof leaks
Ability to understand or have experience in Electrical Panels including Sub Panels (MBD derate, conduit bending, relocating circuits, etc.)
Ability to understand or have experience in Monitoring equipment (Cat5, Zigbee, Router, Range Extender, and ETC )
Able to read and understand plans
Ability to understand or have experience with all AHJ guidelines within the region
Ability to troubleshoot an inverter that is reporting production loss
Ability to understand or have experience with all types of Solar Equipment (Enphase, Solaredge, Sunpower, and ETC )
Experience in Electrical troubleshooting (Power outage, shorts, faults, and ETC )
Understand battery backup systems (Enphase, LG, and ETC )
Understanding of Standalone Metering equipment (CT for production and consumption)
Complete RMA's and log project documentation
May be required to travel for extended periods at a time
